Hello, My name is Christee Shand and I am the proud owner and operator of Zen Massage and Bodyworks, LLC. I have waited a long time for this opportunity to help people in a way that is not only relaxing, but helps ease pain and stress. I have been a resident of Charlestown NH for the past 18 years and love our community. I thrive to establish a successful business and the chance to make a lot of new friends through massage. My Code of Ethics:

As a valued Client of Christee Shand LMT this is my pledge and oath to you, that my

standards of conduct and principals shall be observed and abided by as follows:

1. I will not under any circumstance discriminate or be prejudice against any individual. I

will show compassion and respect toward my fellow man.

2. I will provide the highest, most knowledgeable, fully trained and professional massage

and body work practices to the best of my ability. And I will continue to educate myself

on a daily, weekly, monthly and/or yearly basis to stay current with my education and

ECU. I will also abide by all state rules and regulations regarding all practices of massage

therapy and body work.

3. My first priority will be of my client’s best interest. I will not purposely cause any

mental, emotional or physical harm to my client.

4. I will have my client fill out a full health history form and go over said health history

form prior to the first massage, I will conduct a Q and A at the beginning of every

massage to update any medical changes, I will make sure there are no contraindications

before all massage appts., I will write out SOAP notes for each client during every visit, I

will inform my client of any suspicions or medical concerns I have found during each

apt., I will not diagnose, I will suggest follow up with clients primary physician when

needed.

5. I will provide a clean, private, safe, relaxing and comfortable environment for my

clients and colleagues.

6. I will keep all paperwork, conversations, and any other forms of communication

between me and my client in the strictest of confidence. Clients will have their own

individual files in locked filing cabinets and/or software protected files on computer

systems that will be not be seen by any other person unless direct by said client for

benefit of said client.

7. I will not allow any behavior that may be reflected as sexual in my massage practice. I

will not engage in any sexual act being it language or behavior with a client, nor will I

allow any sexual misconduct from my clients in any type of language or behavior in

anyway.

8. I will be truthful, honest, engaging, professional and knowledgeable. I will treat my

clients with the dignity and respect all the while expecting the same from my clients and

colleague.
